You'll provide comprehensive injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation services to athletes across school systems, outpatient clinics, and sporting events. Working under physician supervision, you'll be an essential part of a sports medicine care team that keeps athletes strong, safe, and performing at their best. You'll apply preventative care techniques and supportive devices for sports-related injuries while guiding injured athletes through conditioning and reconditioning programs. You'll communicate regularly with physicians, coaches, and families to coordinate care and provide education on injury prevention. Your responsibilities include providing event coverage and emergency response as scheduled, documenting care plans and progress accurately, and educating school staff and athletes on best practices. You'll maintain flexibility in work locations and schedules based on athletic and clinical needs across schools, clinics, and sporting events.
