job summary:
We're seeking a CAD Designer III to support the design and development of natural gas distribution projects. In this role, you'll create detailed CAD drawings for system improvements, customer-driven projects, and infrastructure upgrades while working closely with engineers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient gas distribution systems. 
location: Lansing, Michigan

salary: $30 - 45 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Associates

responsibilities:

• Design gas distribution systems for capacity, reliability, and relocation projects utilizing CAD software such as Bentley OpenPlant or MicroStation.

• Track project milestones in spreadsheets and databases, and leverage SAP to efficiently create orders and procure necessary materials.

• Support community safety by participating in on-call rotations and assisting with crucial storm and emergency restoration efforts in both office and field settings.

• Work independently with minimal supervision while seamlessly interacting with engineers to ensure accurate designs for gas distribution facilities.
