Job Title: Cake Decorator

JOB SUMMARY
To prepare cakes for decorating and decorate cakes to ensure customer requirements are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES

E Provide products and services that are competitively priced, always meet the requirements of internal and
external customers and abide by the Company’s Mission Statement.
E Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, floor (to ensure safety) and sanitation regulations are met.
E Ice and decorate cakes by taking prepared icing and applying to cake using spatulas and icing bags.
E Prepare icing for cakes by reading recipes, measuring ingredients and mixing product.
A Fill tables and cases with cakes by taking product from prep area to sales area.
A Taking special orders from customers over the telephone and in person.
A Maintain quality of product for sale by checking sales area for dates and condition of product.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be 18 years old.
Must have experience in cake decorating and be able to do all types of decorating.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ability to read and follow recipes/instructions
Verbal and written communicative skills
Basic math skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Ability to squeeze icing bags with hands.
