Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for working as a Clinic RN, maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers.

The Clinic RN serves as nursing coverage in the clinic by assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments, and procedures performed within the clinic setting under the direction of the provider and within the scope of the professional license.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Graduate of an accredited RN program or LPN/CMA (Certified Medical Assistant).
• Current license in the State of Iowa.
• Three (3) years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Superior nursing process skills and strong patient service focus.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees must certify within three (3) months of hire.
• Positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and fun-seeking personality.
• Organized with the ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well as a team member.
• Ability to think, converse, and type simultaneously while utilizing excellent telephone communication and customer service skills.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
