Job Description

Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer (UI/UX & Accessibility)

Location: Albany, NY (Day 1 Onsite)

Relocation: From EST Zone only

Experience: 8 years (Not less than 8 years)

Duration: 30 Months

Interview: In-Person Interview Required

Visa: H1B, GC, GCEAD, H4EAD, USC

Mandatory Requirement:

One project on any State Government.

Requested Qualifications:

Experience using HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass/Less), and JavaScript (ES6+); RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming; experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience in build tools (e.g., Webpack, Parcel), version control (Git), and browser developer tools for debugging and performance analysis.
Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD; prototyping frameworks or libraries for more complex interactive prototypes.
Experience implementing designs that meet WCAG 2.1 AA or AAA compliance standards. Developed and enforced usability guidelines and accessibility best practices within development teams, leading to a measurable reduction in user-reported usability issues.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, QA) on product development cycles, ensuring alignment and timely delivery. Mentored junior designers or developers on UI/UX best practices, contributing to team skill development.
Experience leading and executing user research initiatives; translating research findings into actionable design recommendations; experience with Jira, UserTesting.com, Lookback, SurveyMonkey, Typeform, Excel, Google Sheets, Miro, and Mural.
