Job Description

We are hiring a Freelance Graphic Designer to join a luxury fashion brand in NYC. This position will be part-time, 20-40 hours per week and will be hybrid in their NYC office.

• Pay Rate: $33/HR

Responsibilities:

• Graphically support Marketing, Events & PR initiatives
• Designing can include but not limited to:
• Illustrations
• Graphic Design
• Information Design
• Motion Graphics
• UX/UI
• Social/Display Banners
• Along with the Head of Marketing, strategize and create high impact artwork for communications that ideate new content/formats for high impact communications
• Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with functional partners throughout the organization to identify content opportunities and maximize engagement
• Able to work fast, make decisions and gather resources for any type of project
• Able to execute projects from start to production. Work with vendors to see project through to print completion.
• Efficient understanding of the brand, its aesthetic, guidelines, and seasonal collections
• Deliver work on time and on budget

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Graphic Design is a must; prior experience working with a fashion brand is preferred
• Experience in Communications or equivalent
• InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong written and communication skills
• Eye for design and typography
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Self-motivator with a can-do attitude
• Knowledge of SharePoint, AfterEffects, HTML or CSS a plus
• UX/UI experience a plus
• Existing vendor relationships (in New York and other markets) a plus
