Maintenance Mechanic

Elwood Staffing is immediately hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Henderson, TX! Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p $20/hr!

Maintenance Mechanic Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Overtime available
• Disassembling, moving and reassembling manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Support production by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Install, adjust, and maintain machinery and mechanical components
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
