3rd shift - 8 hour shift that starts between 9pm-10pm

• Clerk: Warehouse pick-and-drop experience preferred (not mandatory).
No License required
Work Location- address on posting
• In-pharmacy, supporting floor operations.
Ideal Candidate Background
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting (retail or long-term care preferred).
Team Composition
• Collaborative team environment with pharmacists, technicians, and clerks working together to ensure timely prescription fulfillment

Overtime/Weekend Work
• Not required, but may be necessary occasionally to ensure timely prescription release.
Interview Process
• Format: In-person at the pharmacy.
• Rounds: Single round.
• Video/Phone: Not applicable.
• Technicality: Informal; includes a tour and explanation of duties.

Bagging department technicians are responsible for preparing the finished prescription as well as other light warehouse duties.
Responsibilities:
Sort all baskets/carts of final reviewed medications according to facility units, location and delivery times
Scan all medications pending for delivery
Prepares delivery manifests, packing slips and ancillary paperwork (MCRs, TSP notifications etc.) to correspond to appropriate facility
Retrieve final reviewed medication baskets/carts from RPh final review stations (including STATs)
Prep for the day, set up delivery totes/stickers
Check racks/bins before each delivery departure for missing meds
Scans manifests into system for confirmation of delivery
During down times, may assist pharmacy floor for additional support
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA
Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected
Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
Other duties as assigned

Minimum (Required): (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level)
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to keep up at a moderate speed
Good English language and English reading skills
0-6 months working experience

Preferred: (if above and beyond the minimum required)
Previous pharmacy experience
Previous warehouse experience

Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
