$55.00/hr to $58.00/hr

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med Surg / ED day shift assignment with Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, Colorado . This role is ideal for an RN with strong Med/Surg background and Spine/Ortho post-op experience , who is comfortable working in a critical access hospital setting.

Important Highlights

No holiday RTO allowed candidate must be willing to work holidays
Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license required
COVID vaccination required per state mandate
Traveler s permanent address must be at least 65 miles from the facility
Local travelers will not be considered
Facility may offer possibility of shared 2 bed / 2 bath housing
No pets / no smoking
Facility will pay rent

Required Experience

Minimum 4 years of RN experience
Strong Med/Surg experience required
Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience required
Experience in critical access, floor nursing, Med-Surg adult/peds, ACU, or ED is highly valuable

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
Active Colorado RN license

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in Med Surg / ED setting
Manage post-op Spine/Ortho patients
Monitor and assess adult and pediatric Med/Surg patients
Support patient care in a critical access hospital environment
Document accurately in Meditech
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
Work assigned holidays as required
