Temporary Full-Time Fitness Manager to help to operate high-end corporate fitness & wellness centers in Chicago, IL. We are looking for someone who is willing to assist in overseeing two different corporate fitness center locations in Chicago. This person will spend about 3 months at each location, with an expected timeframe of July - December.

Kinema is seeking a fitness manager that has strong leadership and communication skills with a love and passion for fitness and wellness. Kinema Fitness sets high standards for their team members, but also gives a strong support system to ensure their success and the site’s success.
The Fitness Manager will be responsible for ensuring that we exceed expectations in the areas of member engagement, customer service, wellness programs, and personal training. The manager will also be responsible for creating an outreach strategy to the employees within the building to broaden the reach of the fitness center. These programs will include events, workshops, partnerships, and other services. You will be working closely with the Kinema Fitness’ team to develop and implement the vision and strategy that is created.
As Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding certain performance metrics and goals. To achieve these goals, it is prudent to be proactive, detailed oriented, organized, and innovative.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Create a culture of excellent customer service similar to luxury hospitality, that is tailored to the needs of the members and client.
· Develop a strong personal training program that will become a cornerstone of the corporate fitness center.
· Create new wellness initiatives that engage and excite the members of the fitness center.
· Be prepared to create participation and usage reports for the client as well as Kinema Fitness.
· Activate other areas of the building with featured classes, programs, or events.
· Create an outreach strategy to generate additional memberships.
· Work closely with our design team to create marketing collateral that is consistent with our branding.
· Develop and implement strategies for improving program, participation, and financial outcomes for programming.
· Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working order.
· Must be responsive to feedback from members and the general manager.
· Implement and grow holistic wellness solutions as well as other wellness related services within the fitness center and within the building.
REQUIREMENTS: · Certified Personal Trainer (Must be current and up to date)
· Group Fitness Experience
· CPR/AED & First Aid certified
