As a Commercial Roofing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of roofing projects, ensuring their successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing roofing crews, materials, and equipment, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized leader with a strong background in new construction as well as re-roofing, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead roofing crews, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and quality workmanship.
* Coordinate and schedule roofing projects in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones and deadlines.
* Oversee material inventory, ordering, and delivery, ensuring availability and adherence to project specifications.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the team.
* Conduct regular inspections of completed work to guarantee quality and adherence to industry standards.
* Collaborate with the sales team and project estimators to provide accurate job costing and estimates for potential projects.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
* Maintain and update project documentation, including progress reports, time sheets, and incident reports.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in roofing materials and techniques.
Requirements:
* In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of roofing professionals.
* Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
