We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. About The Role

We are looking for talented engineers with experience in front-end application development. As a front-end engineer, you'll be working on our applications and helping ensure they are usable, well-engineered, performant, and thoughtfully written. At Applied Intuition, engineers take ownership over technical and product decisions & interact closely with users to deliver stellar features. Frontend engineers at Applied Intuition collaborate closely with our Design and Product teams to make delightful products that move Autonomy development forward.

Our products span the domains of sensor simulation, planning simulation, drive management, and mapping. Our users are controls, planning, behavior, and perception engineers at leading AV companies or work in validation, testing, and safety groups. The Applied Intuition product suite is powered by state-of-the-art web technologies, and are critical to the success of our clients' day-to-day operations.

We have multiple Frontend roles open for all levels of seniority, from mid-level to lead.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Build and drive new product features from inception to launch
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to the product surface area
  • Design large scalable systems within a team of talented engineers
  • Collaborate with the Design and Product team to ship complex features and delightful interfaces
  • Maintain and develop a culture of engineering excellence for the product and codebase

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in software engineering and modern web technologies
  • Experience working with React, Typescript, CSS
  • Experience collaborating closely with Design and Product to rapidly iterate on products
  • US Citizen, able to obtain clearance

Nice to have:

  • Experience with API layer (e.g. GraphQL), or WebGL frameworks (e.g. Three.js)
  • Experience working with autonomous vehicle systems or simulation software
  • Experience with build tools e.g. Bazel, Babel, Webpack

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located. For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $65,000 - $400,000 USD annually.
