Commonwealth Preservation Group (CPG) is a historic preservation consulting firm whose clients, staff, project design, and work product are at the center of all that we do. The Office Coordinator position supports the day-to-day operations of the firm to ensure CPG meets, if not exceeds, expectations around our projects. The Office Coordinator position maintains a public-facing position at, and candidates should be comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and other community members on a regular basis. This position is designated as a part-time, in-office position.

CPG believes historic preservation is at its core a form of storytelling whether through traditional national register nominations and tax credit projects or more nuanced, compelling projects involving the documentation of a community’s stories and institutions. CPG’s office is located in the historic Park Place neighborhood in Norfolk.
